BAGI is pleased to offer rental slots on any bench for a discounted rate for buying in bulk. If you want to buy in bulk you may do so in person or by calling the studio at (408) 993-2244.
Bulk Rates and Rules:
- 10% off any glory-hole, small, med, or large
- Slots must be on the same glory-hole
- Must buy 10 rental slots at a time
- Purchases is non-refundable
- Must be paid in advance*
- Renters are responsible for managing their own reservations through online booking system
- Cost for extra annealing shelf $25
- Cost for glass over 50lbs $1.50/pound
*Renters will be issued a credit by BAGI’s booking system for a value of 10 slots with a 10% discount. Renters may use issued credit to book slots through our SuperSass booking system.
- Bench 1 (large glory hole)30X18 16ring: $1980 for 10 slots
- Bench 2 (small glory hole) 22X12 10ring: $1620 for 10 slots
- Bench 3 (medium glory hole) 28X13 12ring: $1800 for 10 slots
Rental Fee Includes Use of
- One bench
- One glory-hole
- 50 pounds of glass
- One-half of an annealer with 24 hour cycle
- Pipes and punties
- Oxy-Natural gas finishing torch
- Blocks
- One-half of a warming garage
- One-half Color box
- Hand tools (shears, diamond shears, jacks, tweezers)
- Mapp torches
- Pastorelli and fork
Renter’s Responsibilities
- Renter’s responsibility to cancel at least 48 hours in advance. No refunds for no shows.
- Renters must come 1 hour prior to their slot to light-up the shop and unload the annealer. If renter isn’t able to do so, please contact staff and ask them if they are able to assist in the shop light-up.
- Renters must be cleared out of the work space by the time the next shift and/or class begins.
- Renters should be mindful of their fellow renters as it relates to safety and equipment usage.
- Renters will clean up their space, bench and all glass after each shift.
